Cylinder Blocks form the core structural component of an engine, housing the cylinders in which pistons move to convert combustion into mechanical energy. Located within the engine's crankcase (Engine Parts > Crankcase), these blocks are typically constructed from cast iron or aluminum alloy for durability and efficient heat dissipation. They contain critical coolant passages and oil galleries to regulate engine temperature and lubricate internal components. Variations exist to accommodate different engine configurations, such as inline, V-shaped, and horizontally opposed layouts. Examples within our range include Febi cylinder blocks (MPN 46267, FEBI102860) and Renault-manufactured blocks for specific vehicle applications.
